How do payments work?
All payments are processed securely via Stripe, a global leader in online payments. Once a rental is completed, funds are released to the lister's connected account — typically within 2–4 business days.
What fees does CIOS charge?
We take a small service fee from each completed rental. This covers:
  • secure payment processing
  • platform operations
  • ongoing improvements
There are no upfront costs to list your equipment.
What happens if something goes wrong?
If an issue arises, our team is here to step in. Simply contact us with the details, and we'll review the situation and work towards a fair resolution for both parties. We're continuously improving our dispute handling to make the process faster and clearer.
How can I protect myself as a lister?
We recommend verifying renters before handing over equipment. A simple and effective step is to check a valid ID and take a quick photo for your records. We're actively developing additional security features to further protect both listers and renters.
Can I rent and list from the same account?
Yes — your account gives you full access to both sides of the marketplace. You can list your own equipment, rent from others, and manage everything in one place.
Is CIOS safe to use?
Security and trust are a priority. With secure payments, user accountability, and ongoing platform improvements, we're building a marketplace you can rely on.
